Message	Without and external amp ur components are gonna sound like sh*t, amps don't just make stuff louder, then clean up the signal. You can have a component set w/o an amp but it won't sound good, cuz you won't be able to adjust anything. Furthermore if you want good base, get a sub. If you just want a little an 8 or a 10 should do you. I have MBQuart Q series and once i got an amp the went from badass to phenominal!
